Love the curve to open. Might have been a bit excited on the throw to first.
It's weird to me NESN has gone away from projecting ads behind home plate, either in acknowledgment the technology sucks or that they were double-dipping on the advertisers, yet they're now putting ads up the sidelines near the batter's box. Why not go the EPL route and stick plasma screens over there (covered with Kevlar or whatever to protect the screens)? Or maybe just a goddamn vacuum to suck up loose change in the stands.

As for The Other Pitcher in this game, any chance we could swap him out for Abe Alvarez and hope they don't notice? That has to be the easiest motion in the majors that generates a 94 mph fastball.

I really like the Killians ad with the Bluetooth Guy. I assume he has to give up his phone, coat, watch, etc. just to pay off his tab. Nothing says, "I could go for a cold one" like a peek into the life of a semi-functional alcoholic.
Hopefully Felix doesn't go all 9. Otherwise that 1 run may stand up.
[this is ridiculous]

1. Boy, you really have to go out of your way to get Brian Kenny up to the top of your "Bitching To Do" list (let alone interject Hitler into the same sentence). The guy is a first rate baseball fan with a perfectly fine on-screen personality (in addition to being a very decent and approachable off-screen one). I realize that gripes about the Baseball Tonight crew have gotten thin with the departure of Dave Campbell, but hell, Steve Phillips is still there.

2. I don't watch NESN. Isn't Jack Welch the name of DeNiro's character in "Midnight Run?"

3. Looks like Felix went all nine. With the Yankees facing many days of frustration in the near future, I'm going to get in my "HAH!" now.
